The Process (in 9 simple steps)

1. Say hello

 When you reach out via the submission form, text or email, I'll check my availability for your date and get back to you either way. If I'm available and you're ready to proceed, you can book me straight away. If you're unsure, we can arrange a phone chat or no-obligation meeting to answer your questions and make sure you feel confident. Once booked, I'll email my Welcome Pack and handy Ceremony Guide.

 2. Lock in your date

  To secure your date, a $100 booking fee is required and a receipt will be issued. Most couples pay via bank transfer, but I also accept cash!

3.  First catch up about 4 months before your wedding

 I'll be in touch to arrange our planning meeting. Over a cuppa or glass of wine 🍷, we'll review your ID, discuss your ceremony vision and start the legal paperwork. It usually takes about an hour, with no strict time limit. You'll receive your couple questionnaire to complete at your own pace, giving you time to consider what you'd like to share with your guests. 

4.  Relax!

  At this stage, you can relax, nothing further is needed from you. Well, not by me anyway. 😉

5. Ceremony creation

About 6-8 weeks before your big day, I’ll begin writing your script based on your questionnaire answers. I’ll be in touch via text, phone or email to clarify details, dates etc. Just let me know your preferred contact method. I’ll send drafts for your approval (if you like) and keep you updated throughout. Need extra meetings? We can absolutely make that happen!

6. Rehearsal (usually within the week prior, recommended but not mandatory)

 It's getting real now! I make rehearsals fun while fine-tuning the details. It's a great chance to relax with your bridal party and ensure everyone is comfortable with their roles: positions, music timing, bouquets, ring exchanges and signing paperwork. A rehearsal helps ease nerves by making the ceremony flow familiar.

7.  Your wedding day has arrived!

 On your big day, I’ll arrive at least 45 minutes early to set up, check the sound, play pre-ceremony music and warmly welcome your guests. YOU just enjoy every moment, I’ve got it covered!

 8.  I’ll handle the legalities

After the ceremony, I'll take care of the paperwork to register your marriage with Births, Deaths, and Marriages. If requested, I’ll also order your official certificate. Simply relax and settle into married life! Your certificate will arrive within four weeks, confirming your marriage is officially registered.

9.  Enjoy your new life together!
