Here's how it works. Super simple and stress-free!
๐ Say hello
When you first reach out via the submission form, text or email, I'll check to see if I have availability on your chosen date and get back to you, either way. If I'm available on your day, and you feel comfortable moving forward, you can book me as your celebrant there and then, OR if you're still unsure, we can arrange a phone chat to answer any questions you may have. This is also a great opportunity for us to connect and ensure you are confident to proceed. Once you book me, I will email you my handy Ceremony Guide.
๐ณLock in your date
To secure your date, a $100 booking fee is required. A receipt will be issued. Most couples prefer to pay via bank transfer, but I also accept cash payments!
โบ๏ธ First Catch Up
We'll schedule our first meeting to review your ID, chat about your ceremony vision, and start the legal paperwork. While this meeting typically takes about an hour there are no strict time limits. I always aim to schedule these meetings on different days for different couples to ensure you don't feel rushed and get all the time you need.
๐ต Relax
At this stage, you can relax, nothing else needed. Well, not from me anyway. ๐
โ๏ธCeremony Creation
About 3-4 months before your day, I'll begin drafting your script, based on everything we've talked through and send it for approval, and clarify any details. I'll keep you updated and schedule a rehearsal or extra meetings if needed.
๐งRehearsal (usually within the week prior)
It's getting real now! I always try to make rehearsals fun while fine tuning all the details. Rehearsal day is a great day to kick back and have some fun with your bridal party as well as ensuring everyone is comfortable with their roles: positions, music timing, holding bouquets, ring exchanges, signing paperwork etc. Having a rehearsal is important to help ease nerves, and trust me, those nerves are more likely to hit harder when you don't know the flow of the ceremony or what to expect.
๐ It's here!
On your big day, I'll arrive 45 minutes early to set up, perform sound checks, play music and welcome your guests.
๐ฉท And YOU enjoy the moment. I've got everything covered!
๐ปI'll make it legal
Once your ceremony is sadly over, (yes, we will all be sad) I will send off all the paperwork to formally register your marriage with Births Deaths and Marriages and order your official certificate if you have requested one. You just sit and relax and within 4 weeks you'll have your certificate on your doorstep, and your marriage is registered!
It's that easy! And if ever in doubt about what happens next at any stage of the planning process, I'm a phone call or massage away!
"Thank you for everything. You did an amazing job!"

When it's time to say goodbye
Every couple I work with becomes like a part of my extended family. As a celebrant, the most bittersweet moment is watching you both walk hand in hand down the aisle as a newly married couple, ready to embark on your beautiful new chapter, knowing my role in your journey has come to an end.
