You sure can! I love to stay on and help you celebrate. I call this my mini MC service as I don't promise my comedic  or entertaining skills. However I do ensure to keep your reception running smoothly, making key announcments like bridal couple entry, meal service, cake cutting, speeches, first dance and open dance floor. I will collaborate with other vendors involved in your reception celebration to ensure everyone is on the same page and ready for what comes next in your reception time line. This additional service is $450 covering 5 hours of reception time.

There are also standard inclusions such as provision of PA, music, commemorative certifcate, early arrival at ceremony for set up, and of course, completion of all legal paperwork and submission to Births Deaths and Marriages. 

I'm not the celebrant who pretends to be young, hip and overly "out there." That's just not me. What I offer is warmth, calm and a genuine connection. I'm approachable, down to earth, and what you see, is truly what you get. I create ceremonies that feel natural, personal and heartfelt, not over the top performances. If you're looking for  someone to bring authenticity, steadiness and a friendly presence to your day, that's exactly where I shine. 

Of course! That's all part of my job and included in my prices. I will ensure all the legal requirements are taken care of. By the time your reception is starting (unless I have the privelge to MC as well) you'll find me back at home, dotting the i's and crossing the t's to make sure everything is absolutley compliant before submitting all of your documents to the Births Deaths and Marriages. This is when I'll also order your Official Marriage Certifciate if you have requested one. The day after your wedding I will send you the confirmation email from BDM to reassure you everything has been submitted. All you need to to then is sit and wait,and within 4 weeks your marriage should be registered, and you will receive your official marriage certifcate at your home address.  

I understand completely! However there are certain legal words that must be said by both marrying parties for your marriage to be legally compliant. There are 21 words in total that must be spoken by you both, and they are "I call upon the persons here present to witness that I (name) take you (name) to be my lawful wedded (husband/wife/partner)" And that's it! Everything else is optional. You don't even have to say your personal vows if you don't wish. Many couples are choosing to share their personal vows privately these days, so that's always an option too. And rest assured, I will be there guiding you through all the components of your ceremony to make it easy for you, so all you need to focus on is each other. 

I service Geelong and the surrounding areas within a 30km radius. All travel within this zone is included in my fee. 

If your ceremony is just outside that area, feel free to ask and depending on the location, I'll let you know if I can be available for your day and of any extra travel costs. 

Absolutely, that's what I'm here for! You don't need to have anything figured out when you first get in touch. In fact, most couples start exactly where you are. I'll walk you through each option, give you examples and help you discover what feels right for you both. There's no need to stress!

The NOIM (Notice Of Intended Marriage) is the first legal document you will need to lodge with me. As the name suggests, it's a notice of your intention to marry each other. There is no need for you to download this form as I will provide this for you.  I will assist you to complete this form and can also act as a witness to your signatures on the form, if completing it in my presence. This is why I always reccommend completing the form together. If you choose to complete this form independently you will need an authorised person to witness your signatures before lodging it with me. ( a list of these authorised persons is on page 4 of the NOIM). The NOIM needs to be lodged with me at least one calendar month before your wedding date, but no more than 18 months before. I know this all may sound overwhelming, but I assure you it will be easily done, with my help.

I will happily play your pre ceremony music from my own PA System for a minimum of 30 minutes before your ceremeony starts. This is the music that sets the tone as your guests are arriving and played directly from my Spotify playlist. It consists of mostly acoustic love songs which creates the perfect ambiance. You may of course choose your own songs, which you can send to me to create a playlist for you.  

However, the songs for your actual ceremony key moments, for example bridal entry, signing of papers, etc, will need to be played by a responsible person you have sourced, usually one of the guests. I will of course liaise with this person before the ceremony starts to ensure they are confident with which songs to play and the timings. And naturally they are welcome to connect via Bluetooth to my speaker. It's usually a great idea for your chosen music person to attend the rehearsal, so they, too, can practice playing the songs at the right cues.

The reason for  this is because my sole focus is on you, the couple. If someone else is handling the music, I can be fully present and focus my attention on ensuring your ceremony flows smoothly and perfectly. 

 Not at all! Though most couples choose this option, especially if they are intending on changing names etc. Asking me to do it for you, is well worth it, saving you lots of time and inconvenience later on. The cost for me to order this for you is $70 which includes postage and handling. However should you decide not to purchase the Official Certifcate and wish to do so further down the track, that's always an option, but bear in mind it might be a bit of a process. I can do it for you with a few extra clicks on my key board!

You'd be surprised how little needs to be spoken to get you married! I say:

My name is Rose Genitori and I am duly authorised by law to solemnise the marriage between (?) and (?). Marriage according to law in Australia is the union of 2 people to the exclusion of all others voluntarily entered into for life. Before you are joined in marriage I am to remind you of the serious and binding nature of the relationship into which you are now about to enter.

And YOU BOTH say:

I call upon the persons here present to witness that I (?) take you (?) to be my lawful wedded husband/wife/partner

And that's it! You're married! (As well as signing your paperwork with 2 witnesses present.)
