However I do ensure to keep your reception running smoothly, making key announcments like bridal couple entry, cake cutting, speeches, first dance and open dance floor. I will liaise with other vendors to ensure everyone is on the same page and ready for what comes next in your reception time line.

There are also standard inclusions such as provision of PA, music, commemorative certifcate, early arrival at ceremony for set up, and of course, completion of all legal paperwork and submission to Births Deaths and Marriages. 

I'm not the celebrant who pretends to be young, hip and overly "out there." That's just not me. What I offer is warmth, calm and a genuine connection. I"m approachable, down to earth, and what you see, is truly what you get. I create ceremonies that feel natural, personal and heartfelt, not over the top performances. Of course! That is all included in my prices. I will ensure all the legal requirements are taken care of. By the time your reception is starting, you'll find me back at home, dotting the i's and crossing the t's to make sure everything is absolutley compliant before submitting all your documents to the Births Deaths and Marriages. This is when I'll also order your Official Marriage Certifciate if you have requested one. The day after your wedding I will send you the confirmation email from BDM to reassure you everything has been submitted. All you need to to then is sit and wait,and within 4 weeks your marriage should be registered.  

I understand completely! However there are certain legal words that must be said by both marrying parties for your marriage to be legally compliant. There are 21 words in total that must be spoken by you both, and they are "I call upon the persons here present to witness that I (name) take you (name) to be my lawful wedded (husband/wife/partner)" And that's it! Everything else is optional. You don't even have to say your personal vows if you don't wish. Many couples are choosing to say their personal vows privately these days, so that's always an option too. And rest assured, I will be there guiding you through all the components of your ceremony to make it easy for you. 

I service Geelong and the surrounding areas within a 30km radius. All travel within this zone is included in my fee. 

If your ceremony is just outside that area, feel free to ask and depending on the location, I'll let you know if I can be available for your day and of any extra travel costs. 

Absolutely, that's what I'm here for! You don't need to have anything figured out when you first get in touch. In fact, most couples start exactly where you are. I'll walk you through each option, give you examples and help you discover what feels right for you both. There's no need to stress!

The NOIM (Notice Of Intended Marriage) is the first legal document you will need to lodge with me. As the name suggests, it's a notice of your intention to marry each other. I will assist you to complete this form and can also act as a witness to your signatures on the form, if completing it in my presence. This is why I always reccommend completing the form together. If you choose to complete this form independently you will need an authorised person to witness your signatures before lodging it with me. ( a list of these authorised persons is on page 4 of the NOIM). The NOIM needs to be lodged with me at least one calendar month before your wedding date, but no more than 18 months before. In this case, a new NOIM would need to be lodged. I know this all may sound overwhelming, but I assure you it's easily done with the help of your celebrant.
